The Nurse Manager for the Operating Room (OR) provides clinical guidance and mentorship, while serving as a professional resource to all members of the healthcare team. The manager will also work very closely with Information Services to maintain EMR and associated reporting systems
Duties and Responsibilities
Review, plan, develop, and implement processes and new initiatives,
Ensure operations support key organizational and departmental standards for clinical outcomes, ! patient care and staff safety, and patient satisfaction.
Work collaboratively with other managers and leadership persons within Perioperative and Anesthesiology Services, Central Supply as well as, other organizational departments.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN) required
Master's in Nursing (MSN) preferred
5+ yrs acute care experience required; 5+ yrs supervisory/managerial experience required within the Operating Room
Current Delaware Licensed Registered Nurse
