Graduate of an approved School of Nursing. Current licensure to practice in the State of Delaware as a Registered Nurse. Current CPR certification. Must meet all applica! ble federal, state and local professional requirements.
Experience:
Three (3) years of oncology required. Office experience preferred.
Qualifications:
Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, verbal communication, and
organizational skills. Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the hematology oncology population. Chemotherapy and biotherapy required. O.N.S. certification preferred.
Position Summary:
Plans, coordinates and directs those activities essential to the provision of
quality nursing care. Coordinates the medically planned activities
provided by the physician. Coordinates treatments for chemotherapy,
obtains pre-authorization for patient chemotherapy and other medications.
