Licensed Office Based Therapist

Description: Children & Families First is at present looking to employ Licensed Office Based Therapist right now, this job will be placed in Delaware. Provide evaluative, diagnostic, and psychotherapeutic services to adolescents (both male and female) based in a residential treatment facility, Seaford House, and their ! families.Conduct individual, family, and group therapies to clients.Coordinate client care with contractor and other state agencies. Provide on-call clinical coverage. Participate in or coordinate special projects as directed by the Clinical Director.Develop and implement plans for personal continuing education and enhancement of clinical skills.Consult with medical (psychiatric and nursing) and education staff regarding clinical issues.Complete reports in a timely manner.Evaluate staff documentation and client progress notes to ensure the consistency of the treatment plan.Part-time, 20 hours per week.
Masters Degree in counseling, social work, or equivalent; four to six years of clinical work experience; current Delaware license (LCSW or equivalent) required.Ability to respond appropriately to the cultural differences present among the agencys service population.Delacare Regulations require all staff to have at least forty hours of training each year, including Medicat! ion Assistance, CPR, First Aid, Passive Physical Restraint, an! d Crisis Control Techniques.Previous experience working with specific age groups, i.e. children, adolescents, etc. (may be required for certain programs).Must have valid drivers license.Strong oral and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and accurately.
