Behavior Interventionist

New Behavioral Network, a division of The NBN Group , is searching for qual! ified Behavior Interventionists (BI) to work 1-on-1 with children aged 4-17 in Community & In-Home Settings.

Opportunities are currently available in the following counties:

New Castle, Kent and Sussex . Our BI position is Part-Time.

Responsibilities - may include, but are not limited to:
Provide direct care services according to prescribed treatment plan prepared by client's therapists, counselors and other treatment staff in collaboration with the client and their family.

Communicate with Client’s therapist as needed in regards to client’s compliance and progress.

Maintain detailed and accurate program records and progress notes.

Utilize effective listening skills in all client contacts.

Maintain a positive attitude & work ethic toward the client, their family and other members of the treatment team.

As a Behavior Interventionist, you will assist our young clients in meeting the goals s! et forth in their Activity Support Plan by providing behaviora! l health interventions to address the child’s specific behavioral and mental health needs. Treatment goals are aimed at developing effective coping mechanisms and building an awareness of community support systems to promote healthy functioning of both the client and their family. All services are performed in the community and/or in the client’s home.

Requirements :
Associates degree in Social Services or related field preferred.

One year of experience in managing and dealing with emotionally disturbed adolescents and children. (Additional education may be substituted in lieu of experience.)

Ability to multi-task and meet established deadlines.

Excellent verbal & written communication skills, including the ability to utilize and complete forms for patient care. Bilingual or fluent in Spanish a plus!

Acceptable background check as defined by company policy.

A valid driver’s license, excellent driving rec! ord, and a registered, insured motor vehicle.
