Specialist in cardiac care to join the Cardiac Center team at th! is leading
childrenÂ's hospital.
The CNS in this role is responsible for the improvement and maintenance
of clinical nursing care in the unit that treats infants and children from all
over the world with heart disease. The Center includes a fourteen bed cardiac intensive
care unit, a sixteen bed step-down unit, an operating room and state of the art
technology for diagnosis and treatment.
The CNS in the Cardiac Center is an expert in critical care
nursing, proficient in the care of all age groups from neonates to young adults,
who collaborates with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to
provide high quality health care to these children. In addition to providing
nursing care to selected patients, the Clinical Nurse Specialist assists in
creating nursing care plans with priorities based on the needs of the patient
and their family, and evaluates nursing care given by themselves and others in
the car! diac unit.
This is a full-time position at this premier, pediatric health care facility that was recently ranked nationally among the

World Report, ranking in eight pediatric specialties, including cardiology

Qualifications:
MSN, required; current registered nurse license in the
State of Delaware, required; current Advanced Practice Nurse license in the
State of Delaware, with or without prescriptive authority, required; previous cardiac
experience, required; five years of related clinical experience, required.
