This position will play a leading role developing and deploying channel promotional programs, plans and executing activities for Jakafiâ„¢(rux! olitinib) in the treatment of myelofibrosis in the U.S. This position will also support activities for future brand indications.
Job Responsibilities
Development and implementation of oncology healthcare professional educational programs and materials across multiple marketing channels
Work closely with key oncology stakeholders including nurses, hospitals, office staff, GPOs, and professional societies.
Medical education, thought leader strategy, and management of advisory boards
Agency management to develop and implement promotional programs and materials
Development and maintenance of strong relationships with Sales and other key functional areas including Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, and Development
Coordination with Commercial Analysis to incorporate customer insights into programs and materials
Management of Jakafi lifecycle activities and launch support of future indications
Budge! t preparation and maintenance
Minimum Requirements
5+ years work experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology product channel marketing
Experience working in oncology and an understanding of key stakeholders
Experience working with external brand agencies and vendors on a day-to-day basis and managing promotional budgets
Experience with thought leader management and advisory boards
Ability to collaborate closely with agencies and other team members
Specialty pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience required including experience in hematology, oncology, or inflammation
Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong communication, presentation, analytic and strategic capabilities
Bachelor's degree required; MBA is preferred
