Substitute Nurse
Location: New Castle Delaware
Description: Kelly Educational Staffing is in need of Substitute Nurse right now, this job will be placed in Delaware. More details about this job opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. In this position, you will assist Certified School Nurses with duties and projects as assigned, such as:
- Screening students who present symptoms of a health-related problem.
- Administering e! mergency first aid services in accordance with established medical procedure and Board policy.
- Administering student medication, in accordance with written physician's orders and Board policy.
- Assisting Certified School Nurse to examine students before exclusion or re-admission to school in connection with infectious and contagious diseases (TB, head lice, impetigo, ringworm, etc.)
- Calling for and coordinating on-site EMS response teams.
- Assisting with various screening procedures (height, weight, vision, hearing, scoliosis, etc.) as directed by the Certified School Nurse.
