The Central Supply Technician cleans, sterilizes and delivers surgical instruments for the Operating Room and other auxiliary departments.
This is an entry level position.
C! andidates must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds and push/pull carts up to 350 pounds.
In this position, the Central Supply Technician will: clean all contaminated instruments and equipment wearing protective attire using aseptic technique; assemble and inspect instrument sets; inspect and wrap all instruments and label properly; inventory and restock par level carts for nursing units and deliver supplies throughout the hospital; and other duties as assigned.
Minimum/Preferred Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
Previous Central Supply experience is preferred.
