Job Description
The Customer Service Associate creates a positive and educational experience for each customer. This includes assisting them throughout their time in the store, making product recommendations, and completing the transaction using point-of-sale software. Customer Service Associates are expected to be professional, friendly, and cultivate brand loyalty with the customer. A successful Customer Service Associate will achieve sales and operational goals of the company and maintain strict compliance protocols.
The customer service associate will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the store. This includes, but is not limited to dusting, sweeping, deep-cleaning, organizing, sorting, folding clothes, and merchandising. Healthy teamwork being one of our values, everyone will be expected to help with all tasks. At times, creating signage, setting up decorations, and helping with aesthetic function will be required.
The customer service associate should be prepared to spend large amounts of time behind the register helping customers check-out.
Shifts could be primarily indoor or outdoor depending on whether or not you are helping do reception at the door, or handling curbside orders.

Job Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they enter the store.
- Make product recommendations and educate customers.
- Utilize a cash register to complete customer transactions.
- Ensure compliance standards are met throughout each transaction.
- Maintain clean work areas.
- Be knowledgeable on all aspects of the cannabis products sold in the store.
- Be knowledgeable of all promotions and events.
- Encourage repeat business through positive customer engagement.
- Adhere to all company standards
- Adhere to the dress code at all times
- Reliably show up to work, and show up to work on time
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience in a retail setting.
- Strong customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a cannabis or cannabis-related field.
- Strong education of cannabis products and their effects.
- Experience in a high-volume establishment.
Physical Requirements
The duties of this job require frequent standing, walking, talking, hearing, and may require lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
