One of the largest correctional facility healthcare providers in the county has an opening for a primary care physician. The facility houses an average of 1,800 inmates. The healthcare staff consists of an assistant medical director, 2 physicians, 3 nurse practitioners and 1 physician assistant. They will consider physicians residency trained in internal medicine, family practice and emergency medicine.
The hours are Monday to Friday from 8 to 5 and shared night calls. This is an employed position with a competitive salary plus malpractice and full benefits that include health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plan and 401k, 10 holidays, 10 sick day annually, 12 days PTO your first year and more.
