Manager, Respiratory Care

Location: Dover Delaware

The Manager directs the daily activities of the Respiratory Care Department, responsible for the clinical performance of all staff. Insures that all departments meet regulatory! compliance and standards. Insures that departments are operating within defined budget parameters. Serves as a resource for physicians, nurses and all hospital staff for areas of Respiratory Care. Reports to the Director of Respiratory Therapy.

• Requires an A.S. Degree in Respiratory Care from an AMA Approved School of Respiratory Care. BS or MHA/MBA Degree preferred.
• Must have five (5) years of hospital or outpatient clinical coordinator or progressive management and administrative experience.
• Three ( 3+) years’ experience in Respiratory Care with recent experience in the management of Respiratory Care, Pulmonary Function Testing, and Blood Gas Laboratory preferred.
• Must be registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care. Must have BCLS & ACLS certifications or ability to obtain within six months of hire. ACLS, PALS & NRP Certification preferred
