Position Summary
·
The Director of Quality leads all organization qua! lity monitoring and performance improvement activities.
·
Responsible for the development of quality, performance improvement, comprehensive safety, and overseeing regulatory affairs for all of the facilities.
·
Leads development of hospital performance improvement plan, based on analysis of data regarding service area demographics and health conditions, state and national priorities and hospital quality priorities.
·
Develops and maintains hospital quality reporting processes, meeting the needs and expectations of internal, community, and regulatory processes.
·
Leads the organization in compliance with the Joint Commission and Medicare and Medicaid regulatory standards in the survey preparation process as well as State and
Federal regulatory standards.
·
Collaborates with the executive team, clinical directors and managers, nurses, and physicians to develop and implemen! t standardized policies and procedures for regulatory complian! ce, evidence-based care, and standards of practice.
·
Facilitates education and training for leadership and staff regarding regulatory issues, new statues, and guidelines related to quality and performance improvement.
Position Qualifications
·
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or healthcare related field.
Master’s degree is highly preferred.
·
Minimum five (5) years in healthcare quality within a Joint Commission-accredited acute-care hospital setting.
·
Minimum three (3) years lean six sigma experience.
·
Proven ability to lead and facilitate interdisciplinary teams, and strong project management, and presentation skills.
