Nemours is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team at the Nanticoke Hospital, which is a new partnership with Nemours.

Extending the world-class care of the Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital, Nemours duPont Pediatrics provides expert care for even more children across the Delaware Valley through community-based physician services and collaborative partnerships with health and hospital systems.
To keep pace with the changing health care environment and build a healthier future for our children, Nemours has embarked on a multi-phase expansion to create a chi! ldren's hospital like no other in the region. Upon completion ! in June 2014, the hospital will include private patient rooms, a new Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and a new expanded Emergency Department.
The new partnership is anticipated to start on February 1, 2014 to provide 24/7 pediatric hospitalist coverage to support the pediatric inpatient unit, attend at deliveries, and provide pediatric ED consultations.
Delivery of medical care to inpatient pediatric patients, age newborn to 18 years.
Attendance of c-sections and stabilization of sick newborns for transport.
Assessment and treatment of pediatric patients from newborns through 18 years of age in the Emergency Department, upon request of local physicians and Emergency Department staff.
Regular attendance at Pediatric Departmental meetings and general medical staff meetings as required by hospital and departmental bylaws.
Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date medical records and summaries as required by hospital and departme! nt bylaws.
Participation in quality improvement, service improvement and leadership activities, including patient satisfaction and safety initiatives, risk management and peer review activities.
Participation in teaching activities with residents, medical students, nursing staff and others as opportunities.
Maintenance of board certification as required by employers.
The positions are open to individuals Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics. Neonatology experience required.
