Concentra is seeking to hire a RN with Occupational Health experience for a full time Worksite Nurse Manager opportunity. Eligible candidates! will have previous Occupational Health and Nurse Manager or Supervisor experience. COHN and/or CCM is preferred. Qualified candidates will have good customer service, communication and computer skills.
JOB SUMMARY
Directs the development and administration of occupational and environmental health and safety services for clients, in accordance with Concentra policies, practices, procedures and applicable regulations to achieve objectives of occupational health and safety services.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides management to staff to ensure the optimal operation of the clinic (excluding providers)
Ensures monthly/quarterly/annual ROI reporting is complete and communicated to the client
Communicates with the client on clinic matters, communication initiatives, and operational issues
Assists with initial assessment of injuries & illnesses and refers for further evaluation as necessary
Coordinate! s and provides referrals to outside PCP’s and specialist as ! necessary
Assist with assesses non-occupational illnesses occurring at work, determines the need for immediacy of treatment, and gives guidance to seek care from personal health care providers
Refers to personal health care providers (if applicable to scope of work)
Performs health screenings and assessments and provides guidance/education on screening results
Provides health-related counseling for employees within the scope of nursing knowledge and practice
Maintains & safeguards confidentiality of employee health information and health records
Assists with implementation of health promotion strategies including group & individual health education activities

Required Experience
EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelors Degree
- 24 months clinical nurse experience
- 12 months Occupational Health Nurse experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
