Primary Care Nurse Practitioner - (NP-Primary Care) Locum Tenens
Nurse Practitioner needed in a Northern Delaware facility for a part-time opportunity from April 2013 ongoing. Local candidates are preferred, but client would consider paying for travel and lodging for the right candidate. This opportunity offers 8 hours per week, which can be split into two four hour shifts, if desired. Provider must be well-versed in a Primary Care Outpatient setting and comfortable with seeing Suboxone patients.
A primary care nurse practitioner (locum tenens) diagnoses and treat patients, order diagnostics, conduct physical exams, interpret x-rays and other tests, and also educate patients on maintaining proper health. In addition to a nursing license, a primary care nurse practitioner holds a certification as a nurse practitioner, and typically a master's degree. A primary care nurse practitioner works with physicians on duty to help evaluate and treat patients.
