Liberty Healthcare Corporation is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide services 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday at the Stockley Center, the single, state-run ICF/MR! facility in Delaware.
The Stockley Center is dedicated to providing ongoing, integrated, high-quality medical services to the individuals receiving services from its programs. These services include primary medical care services, specialty consultation services, and coordination of these services during periods of acute illness/hospitalization. The focus at the Stockley Center would be to provide those primary medical services directly, work closely with those medical specialists that might provide services, coordinate provision of continuous, integrated medical services between the Stockley Center and acute care hospitals, and other related medical care services. The Nurse Practitioner would need to be comfortable with care of chronic health conditions, adult neuro-developmental medicine, geriatric issues, including caring for individuals with enterostomy tubes and tracheotomies. It is extremely critical that the medical health practitioners of the Stockley Cente! r work closely with the nursing and administration departments! and view themselves as team partners of the larger interdisciplinary team.
This position is temporary for approximately 60 days with the potential of becoming permanent.
Compensation is $48.08 per hour.
