HCR ManorCare has an opening for a Quality Assurance Consultant covering skilled nursing facilities lo! cated around in NJ (Cherry Hill, New Providence, Voorhees, Mountainside, Paulsboro, Sewell ) and DE (Wilmington).
The Quality Assurance Consultant:
- Collaborates with the director of clinical services, general manager, regional director operations, to identify, prioritize and implement clinical intervention strategies within the assigned caseload of centers.
- Fosters an environment of growth to develop the leadership skills of the administrative director of nursing services and clinical team improving staff retention.
- Promotes care delivery systems to define needs and facilitate solution strategies utilizing knowledge of theory, principles, or technology of nursing practices while embracing compliance with company, state and federal regulations.
- Develops and expands clinical capabilities and continual performance improvement within the nursing department and related interdisciplinary team coordinated efforts.
- Pr! omotes continuity of quality care through the utilization of n! ursing process, resident assessment instrument process, disease management, guidelines, quality assurance and assessment process, patient education, outcomes management and regulatory compliance.

Educational Requirements: Licensed Registered Nurse with bachelor degree required. Master degree preferred. Position Requirements:
- Previous DON experience gained in skilled nursing/long term care facilities required.
- Previous Nurse Consultant experience gained in skilled nursing/long term care faciliites strongly preferred
- RN License ! required
