They provide support in transition and long term care. The average age of chi! ld is 4 years. Each patient is given a home-like private room with personal bathroom and balcony. Nurse to patient ratio is 5 children to 1 nurse + 1 aide. The facility provides exceptional care and has music, art and play therapy for the children including in-house schooling for those who are unable to be transported. Three therapy gyms are located in the facility with state of the art therapy equipment. These children are considered family. Our client improves the lives of technology-dependent children and their families through skilled nursing, transitional and palliative care. They are a haven for healing fragile bodies when improvement is possible, and a refuge for nurturing vulnerable spirits when a cure is unattainable.

Ideal Candidate needs to have experience with OR feel comfortable with:

Program development, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, team oriented, cross functional team experience is necessary, fun and creative.

C! andidates will gain experience with feeding issues, Trachs and! Ventilator Dependence, development delays, nonverbal and verbal communication systems, Neurological impairments, pediatric daily living skills for wheelchair bound children, muscular atrophy, complex physical anomalies and cognitive impairments. Strong preference for therapists with experience treating medically fragile children. This is a full time position. The PT will be the only PT on staff.

Qualifications: Must hold a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy; a current state license (or eligible) if applicable.
