RESPONSIBILITIES:
The School of Nursing at the University of Delaware invites applications for
TWO
9 month, full time
tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor
positions in Adult Health/Medical Surgical Nursing.
Primary responsibilities include teaching in our nationally recognized undergraduate and graduate programs, establishing a funded research program, and contributing to university service.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must be licensed Registered Nurses with expertise in adult health and medical-surgical nursing. Doctorate required; doctoral candidates (ABD) will be considered. Experience in undergraduate and graduate education preferred; skill in on-line education a plus. Successful applicants will possess research training, a beginning publication record, and experience in the grant funding process. Certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist is desirable. Experience in undergraduate! and graduate education preferred; experience in on-line educa! tion a plus.
GENERAL INFORMATION:

) offers dynamic BSN, MSN and PhD programs for approximately 725 undergraduate and 220 graduate students. Accredited by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, the School boasts an award winning faculty of 34 including nationally recognized leaders in education and policy. An on campus Nurse Managed Health Center, offering occupational and employee health, supports the academic, research and service mission. Faculty research in the School of Nursing is organized around three foci: Health Promotion & Risk Reduction across the Lifespan; Health System, Management, Policy & Education; and Management of Chronic Conditions.
The College of Health Sciences is a thriving academic unit of over 2000 students and approximately 100 faculty with state-of-the-art research and teaching facilities. Including the departments of Behavioral Health and N! utrition, Kinesiology and Applied Physiology, Medical Technology, and Physical Therapy, and the School of Nursing, the College is currently transitioning to an exciting new collaborative clinical research complex on a recently acquired 272-acre tract of University property being developed as a Science, Technology, and Advanced Research campus in one of the nationâs leading life science regions.
