POSITION
RESPONSIBILITIES: The On-Call/PRN Nurse functions under the direct supervision of the Team Leader. Within the philosophy, objectives and policies of Delaware Hospice, Inc. and the philosophy and goals of hospice care. This is a non-exempt position.
QUALIFICATIONS: Current RN licensure in State of Delaware (in New Castle County, must maintain
PA license as well), minimum of 2 years oncology, medical-surgical or home care
nursing experience and BSN preferred. Must be able to bend, ! squat, drive for extended
periods of time, lift and t! urn patients, able to lift 30 to 60 lbs, following industry
standards and guidelines for safety and correct ergonomic practices. Employees
involved in patient care may be exposed to blood, body tissue and fluids regularly
and are expected to follow all health care industry safety guidelines indicated in
our procedures manual.
