Job Title: Entry-Level Clone Technician (Cannabis)

Job Summary:

As an Entry-Level Clone Technician in the cannabis industry, your primary responsibility will be to assist in the production and cultivation of high-quality cannabis clones. Your culinary experience will be an added advantage as it relates to the development and propagation of specific strains with desirable flavor profiles. This position requires a strong attention to detail, a passion for cannabis cultivation, and the ability to work within a regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Clone Production: Assist in the production and maintenance of cannabis clones, including tasks such as cutting, rooting, transplanting, and cloning techniques to ensure the successful propagation of desired strains.

2. Culinary Expertise: Utilize your culinary experience to help with organization, sanitation and cleanliness.

3. Cultivation Support: Provide general support to the cultivation team, including nutrient mixing, pest management, pruning, and other tasks related to the healthy growth and development of cannabis plants.

4. Data Collection and Record-Keeping: Accurately record data related to clone production, strain characteristics, and cultivation processes. Maintain detailed records and assist with inventory management as required.

5. Compliance and Regulation: Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to cannabis cultivation, ensuring compliance and contributing to a safe and compliant working environment.

6. Facility Maintenance: Assist in maintaining a clean and organized working environment, including equipment sterilization, sanitation practices, and maintaining proper storage and inventory of supplies.

7. Learning and Development: Stay updated on the latest industry trends, cultivation techniques, and advancements in cannabis genetics. Seek opportunities for professional growth and actively participate in training programs or workshops as provided.

Qualifications:

● High school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary education in a relevant field is a plus.

● Passion for cannabis cultivation and a basic understanding of plant biology.
● Culinary experience or knowledge, particularly in flavor profiling and an understanding of aromas, tastes, and combinations.
● Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures accurately.
● Ability to work in a regulated environment and adhere to strict compliance guidelines.
● Strong work ethic and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision.
● Basic computer skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
● Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take direction from senior technicians and cultivators.
● Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and bending.
● Knowledge of cannabis cultivation laws and regulations is a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
